On the outside, you may appear strong and capable (and you really are), but inside, you’re feeling overwhelmed. Anxiety, depression, emotional exhaustion, and unresolved pain from the past is making it difficult to experience the peace you’ve been longing for.

You’ve tried to keep going, hoping things would get better with time, yet the heaviness remains. Perhaps you’ve become so focused on caring for your family, fulfilling your responsibilities, and being there for everyone else that you’ve forgotten what it feels like to care for yourself.

You don’t have to navigate this journey on your own. I provide a compassionate, supportive space where you can feel heard, understood, and accepted. Together, we will address the root of your struggles using evidence-based psychological approaches integrated with Islamic values, helping you feel more emotionally balanced, and ready to face life’s challenges with renewed confidence, all while strengthening your connection with Allah ﷻ, insha’Allah.

I am Audrey Kodye, an experienced Sunni Muslim Registered Psychologist and Islamic therapist who provides online therapy services for Muslim women in Moncton, New Brunswick.

Every healing journey begins with feeling accepted and understood. I provide a compassionate space where Muslim women can explore their thoughts, emotions, and life experiences with confidence and trust. By combining scientifically supported therapeutic techniques with authentic Islamic principles, we will address the underlying causes of your difficulties, build emotional resilience, and help you experience greater emotional well-being and inner peace, insha’Allah.

The Muslim community in Moncton, is one of the fastest-growing communities in the Greater Moncton area, expanding from 845 individuals in 2011 to approximatively 3500 in 2021. With small religious insitutions and active Muslim centers, it can be challenging for the Muslim women to find comfort and support. In addition, with the stigma that still exists around emotional struggles and psychological well-being, seeking mental health support can be daunting.

I am an Islamic therapist based in Edmonton, AB, and understand what it is like to live in a place where the Muslim community is smaller and where access to Islamically grounded mental health services can be limited. As a Registered Psychologist with focused training in Islamic psychology and therapy, I know how important it is for Muslim women to have access to psychological support that is both professionally informed and rooted in the Qur’an and Sunnah. My aim is to help you navigate life’s challenges while remaining true to our faith, supporting your emotional well-being in a way that respects both your mental health and the teachings of Islam, insha’Allah.

Living in Moncton shouldn’t mean compromising on access to specialized mental health care that aligns with your faith. You can now access specialized, Islamically grounded psychological support without the barriers of distance or the need to travel outside your community. Whether you are navigating work, family life, studies, or personal challenges, virtual therapy provides a convenient and confidential way to invest in your emotional well-being.

If you have been searching for a French-speaking Islamic therapist or counsellor in Moncton, New Brunswick, you are not alone. As an experienced Francophone Sunni Muslim Registered Psychologist, I recognize that many French-speaking Muslim women struggle to find mental health care that reflects both their language and their Islamic values. My experiences living and studying in France, combined with my time in French-speaking communities across Canada, have given me a deep appreciation for the unique cultural experiences of Francophone Muslims. Through secure virtual sessions, I offer evidence-based Islamic counselling in French for Muslim women throughout Moncton.

Taking the first step toward healing is often the most difficult. After spending months, or even years, trying to navigate life’s challenges on your own, reaching out for support can feel overwhelming. Yet choosing to see an Islamic therapist is a courageous investment in both your emotional wellbeing and your relationship with Allah ﷻ.

If you are a Muslim woman in Moncton searching for Islamic therapist near me or Islamic counselling near me, I offer secure online counselling that thoughtfully integrates evidence-based psychology with Islamic teachings.
